		<description>It&#039;s true that it would be a lot more independent without the pc requirement but the string parsing is tough on a simple micro controller. Also the facebook APIs would not work which is a bigger problem.  The best setup would be to get a small pc like the fit pc 2 and use the arduino for it&#039;s sensors and basic IO, which is really what you should use it for. Doing anything more complicated is a bit silly because a laptop and a high level language would be more powerful and flexible.</description>

Have you tried to achieve that with eht shield without mediation of PC. With Eth shield arduino can be on its own.
